Arielle Skolnik is a CSA Nominated and award-winning, Toronto-based film editor and storyteller. She has an interest in stories that present a unique perspective to the world and that touch on the absurdities, chaos, grief and joy of what it means to be human.
Most recently, Arielle edited several episodes of Settle Down, a series for OUTtv as well as Get Hooked, a series for OUTtv and AMI. She was Nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards in 2026 for her work on both series. 
Her other notable editing credits include CBC Gem’s True Dating Stories for which she received a Canadian Cinema Award nomination. 
Arielle also won Best Editing at Blood in the Snow Film Festival in 2024 for the short film How To Stay Awake. 
Her short film credits include Agnes, which premiered at Sundance, as well as the award-winning short film Brief Somebodies, which premiered at SXSW and won the Redbreast Unhidden Narrative Short Competition in partnership with Andrew Scott. She was also nominated for a CCE Award for her work on Brief Somebodies. 
Arielle is a graduate of Humber College where she completed the Post Production program, and in 2023, she participated in the Editors' Lab as part of the CFC's Norman Jewison Film Program.
Starting off her career in film, Arielle joined the DGC and worked as an assistant editor on acclaimed television series Baroness Von Sketch Show, Halo, Chapelwaite and more. 
In her free time, Arielle enjoys creating art and exploring the city on foot.
